The area is rural and beautiful all times of the year, yet still close enough to civilization to have plenty of local activities with restaurants, breweries, hiking trails, bird sanctuaries, boat tours, historic landmarks and antique stores galore. The fabled and fashionable town of Hudson, NY is only a 20-minute drive away.
