Summary: turns out it is self check in. But, they didn't send the room number or door code. So it was a real hassle checking in. then they screwed that up and phoned and texted a bunch over the next few days. Then, their online payment system is fully glitched --it's very intrusive software that seems scammy. Plus, even after paying for the room it tries to get me to pay another chunk, that we do not owe. There are better options out there.
