Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location, staff was very attentive, nice beach chairs and umbrella provided, the four pools are are nice with barbecue grills. Walking trails are wonderful, but the Kapalua Bay Golf course is closed. So that's a +/- cuz you can walk the course. Tavern restaurant Happy hour is a must do.

Negative: The Condo is outdated and needs A LOT of work. The shower leaks, the front door stopper doesn't stay up, the washing machine hot and cold water hook ups are backwards, the cock roaches on the Lanae scared the Hell out of my 49 year wife, the bedroom screen door is broken and barely closes, the oven overhead light bulb is dead, the carpet should be pulled up and the tile floors have numerous cracks in the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Because the shower leaks, the base is grimly and needs to be rebuilt, the dishwasher door has trouble opening and closing. The amenities list a fitness center, but when I asked where it was, I was told I could use The Montage fitness center for $185/day. Everything in Kapalua is sooo expensive, but that's most likely due to tariffs... The FREE Car actually cost $112 USD, which is not exactly FREE As advertised.... I could go on, but you get the general idea.... We'll be back cuz of the KBM Staff, but will pick a different Condo.
