Summary: Sue the property owner was so nice very helpful. She offered to make pancakes and sausage for breakfast which is our favorite. Not sure what else is on the menu, but we saw her cooking up some other items as well. It came with fresh local fruits and great coffee. We stayed in the Pele room which came with a separate kitchenette. I didn’t see a cooktop, but it had a nice size fridge, microwave, and small table and two chairs. We didn’t do any cooking but enjoyed the fridge, privacy, and the great coffee and coffee maker. The room was very nice and clean - very nicely decorated. 2 bathrooms and separate beds was a plus. Showers were not large but worked great for us (I am bit large and fit just fine). The room also has access to a decent sized covered deck. The deck is used by the two dogs; Coconut and Bear. We didn’t see them much but they were awesome and we were glad when we did. Grounds are great and location is very close to Volcano National Park.
